We celebrated International Women’s Day on 9th March 2026 at the Badminton Court, bringing together employees for an engaging and meaningful event that highlighted wellbeing, empowerment, and appreciation for women in the workplace.
The program was graced by Dr. Chippy Joseph, Senior Resident, Department of Psychiatry, MOSC Medical College, Kolenchery, as the Chief Guest. Her presence added depth to the occasion as she shared valuable insights on mental wellbeing and personal growth.
The event began with a warm welcome speech by Shintu Jude, Deputy Manager, R&D, Aurea Biolabs, who set the tone for the celebration by emphasizing the importance of supporting and uplifting women in both personal and professional spaces.
During the program, Anil Kumar Radhakrishnan, CFO, addressed the gathering and acknowledged the contributions of women across the organization. He appreciated the dedication and impact of women employees and encouraged everyone to continue fostering a supportive and inclusive work environment.
In her address, Dr. Chippy Joseph spoke about practical ways to improve overall wellbeing. She highlighted the importance of maintaining mental health through proper medication when required, reading good books, engaging in regular exercise, and practicing positive thinking. She also shared quick and effective methods to manage stress and encouraged participants to listen empathetically to people who may be going through emotional difficulties.
The celebration also included several fun activities and games, with prizes awarded to the winners, adding excitement and participation among employees. The event was emceed by Akhila Nair, Assistant Manager – Technical Support, R&D, Aurea, and Syamili K.M., Assistant Supervisor – Speciality, whose lively presentation added to the vigour of the program
One of the highlights of the event was a special video featuring women staff from Plant Lipids offices across the globe, wishing everyone a Happy Women’s Day in their native languages. This global message beautifully reflected the diversity and unity of the organization. Another video, prepared by the Speciality Unit, centered on this year’s theme, “Give to Gain,” was also screened, reinforcing the message of empathy, support, and shared growth.
The cultural segment added vibrant energy to the celebration, featuring a group dance performance and a solo song, which were enthusiastically received by the audience.
The Women’s Day celebration concluded on a joyful and inspiring note, leaving participants with meaningful reflections on wellbeing, empowerment, and the importance of supporting one another.
