Case Study Competition Launch – Celebrating International Plastic Free Day

Plastics have been part of modern life and have played a larger role in global economic development. Plastics are known for their durability, varying levels of flexibility and high resistance to degradation. These properties make it very convenient and cost effective and has wide range of utilities in the world. The problem with our current consumption of plastics is that we follow a linear economy model in our business practice. Linear economy model follows a make-use-dispose approach for the products and we expect majority of the plastics to finally reach landfills or incinerators.

At Plant Lipids, we have taken a bold initiative to transition into a circular economy for sustainable plastic management. We intend to transition into a model where we reduce usage, recycle / reuse plastics and keep plastics away from landfills / incinerators.

Today, July 3rd is International Plastic Free Day. To commemorate this important day, we are launching a case study competition where you can brainstorm and suggest ideas to help develop a sustainable model for our organization.

Share your ideas and stand a chance to win exciting prizes while making a positive impact on our environment.

Get ready to be part of the change!! Details of case study competition to be shared soon!!
