We are excited to announce the launch of the Formulation Management System (FMS)- a purpose-built digital tool for the Tropical Flavours R&D department. This milestone advances our digital transformation, enabling smarter management of recipe formulations and blending trials with streamlined tracking, a centralised dashboard, and secure handling of information.
FMS brings efficiency, control, and visibility across the formulation process. It minimises paper usage, protects confidentiality, and centralises trial management, helping teams make faster, data-driven decisions. Key features include:
- Project & Product Management: Easily create and manage projects, products, and formulation trials.
- Trial Assignment: Assign trials to blending stations and R&D users with clear accountability.
- Recipe Access Control: Recipes are restricted after trials to protect confidentiality and IP.
- Trial Data Storage: All trial details, inputs, changes, and results are securely saved for full traceability.
- Performance Monitoring: Track blending station performance and trial completion times in real time.
The FMS module is now live and accessible via tablets at all R&D workstations. All team members have completed training and are ready to integrate the system into daily workflows. By reducing printed documents, we also support our sustainability efforts.
