A comprehensive First Aid Training session was conducted on Tuesday, 29th July, at the Plant Lipids Khammam unit in association with St. John Ambulance.
Designed to equip individuals with the confidence and practical skills necessary to respond effectively in emergency situations, the training covered a wide range of essential first aid topics, including:
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) usage.
- Managing unconscious casualties
- Treating burns, fractures, bleeding, and choking
- Recovery position and shock management
- Basic life support and emergency response principles
This training emphasized that first aid is not just a workplace requirement – it is a vital life skill that can mean the difference between life and death.
The session was led by Dr. Savitha from St. John Ambulance, whose expertise and guidance greatly enriched the learning experience. Employees from all departments were part of the session.
