Plant Lipids is proud to announce a powerful collaboration with the Rotary Club of Cochin and a leading environmental organization, resulting in a significant impact for Kochi. Project EnviroWatch, a real-time pollution monitoring and display system, was successfully launched. This collaborative effort, inaugurated on May 8th, 2024, by District Governor of Rotary International District 3201, Rotarian T R Vijaykumar, marks an important milestone in our commitment to environmental responsibility.
Located at Balbhavan, Panampilly Nagar, Kochi, Project EnviroWatch features a large outdoor LED screen displaying live, real-time data on 13 key pollution parameters affecting our city. The data will be presented in a clear and engaging format, specifically designed for the Kochi context, to empower residents with easy-to-understand information. Alongside the data, relevant environmental action messages will be displayed, encouraging the community to take steps towards a cleaner Kochi.
This project reflects our dedication to environmental stewardship. The leadership of our MD, Mr. John Nechupadom, Director, Mrs. Mariam George and our CFO, Mr. Anil Kumar Radhakrishnan and financial support from CSR funds were instrumental in this success.
The system is anticipated to be fully operational in June 2024. We are humbled by the opportunity to contribute to such a meaningful project and look forward to seeing its positive impact on our community.
