{"id":8784,"date":"2026-03-20T14:38:10","date_gmt":"2026-03-20T09:08:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/news.plantlipids.in\/plnews\/?p=8784"},"modified":"2026-03-20T14:38:17","modified_gmt":"2026-03-20T09:08:17","slug":"posh-committee-meeting-reinforces-workplace-safety-at-plant-lipids","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/news.plantlipids.in\/plnews\/2026\/03\/20\/posh-committee-meeting-reinforces-workplace-safety-at-plant-lipids\/","title":{"rendered":"POSH Committee Meeting Reinforces Workplace Safety at Plant Lipids"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) Committee meeting was held on 25.02.2026, reaffirming Plant Lipids\u2019 commitment to a safe, respectful, and harassment-free workplace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Key Highlights:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The POSH Committee reviewed policies and ongoing initiatives to ensure a safe work environment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The committee is gender-balanced and includes an external female NGO member for neutrality and transparency.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A clear and simple process is in place for reporting and addressing complaints quickly and fairly.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>All employees participate in awareness sessions to understand POSH policies and responsibilities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Complaints are handled with strict confidentiality, and a zero-retaliation policy protects complainants and witnesses.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Regular reviews help strengthen POSH practices and maintain a safe, inclusive workplace.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Employees can connect directly with any of the POSH committee members, either in person or via email.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>POSH meetings are generally held twice a year.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The names of the committee members are displayed near the security office at Plant Lipids, Kolenchery.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A POSH awareness and brainstorming session was conducted by the External Member Dr. Nandita Narayanan from National University of Advanced Legal Studies to the members, focusing on practical workplace scenarios, reporting mechanisms, and strengthening a preventive work culture.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Committee Members:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dr. Nandita Narayan (External)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Internal<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Rani Sabu &#8211;
