{"id":8118,"date":"2025-08-01T17:11:20","date_gmt":"2025-08-01T11:41:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/news.plantlipids.in\/plnews\/?p=8118"},"modified":"2025-08-01T17:33:38","modified_gmt":"2025-08-01T12:03:38","slug":"nurture-sports-academy-building-tomorrows-champions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/news.plantlipids.in\/plnews\/2025\/08\/01\/nurture-sports-academy-building-tomorrows-champions\/","title":{"rendered":"Nurture Sports Academy \u2013 Building Tomorrow\u2019s Champions"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are proud to announce that the Plant Lipids Nurture Foundation, in association with St. Peter\u2019s HSS, Kolenchery, has officially launched the Nurture Sports Academy\u2014a visionary initiative aimed at discovering and developing young sports talent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The first edition of our Annual Talent Trials&nbsp;was held at the Kolenchery Sports Centre&nbsp;on June 28, with the goal of identifying passionate and promising young athletes in the age group of 8 to 12 years&nbsp;(Classes 3 to 7).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nearly 50 students&nbsp;from across South India participated in the trials. After a rigorous selection process, 10 outstanding students&nbsp;have been chosen to be part of the academy\u2019s inaugural batch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As part of this initiative, we have launched:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Nurture Badminton Academy\u00a0\u2013 mentored by international badminton star Aparna Balan, who will personally guide and nurture each selected player through a well-structured and focused training program.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Nurture Volleyball Academy\u00a0\u2013 offering intensive, high-performance coaching for young volleyball aspirants.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our long-term goal is to identify talent at the grassroots level and provide a platform for them to grow into international-level athletes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Selected students will receive:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Free accommodation and nutritious food<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Professional coaching and training<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Quality sports kits and equipment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Full academic support up to the twelfth standard<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The academy is not just a training centre\u2014it is the foundation of a long-term vision to build disciplined, confident, and world-class athletes who can one day represent India on national and global platforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With Indian badminton player Aparna Balan&nbsp;leading the badminton program and a strong team supporting volleyball, we are confident that this initiative will shape the champions of tomorrow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is just the beginning\u2014and we thank everyone who supported and participated in this inspiring journey.
